Is the  Board Game Worth Buying?

The object of the 7 Wonders game is raising a complete civilization in one of the greatest wonders of the world. Each player has a chance to be a leader of one of the seven ancient world cities. Each player is given the same task to gather various resources and create routes for commercial access to define him or herself as a military leader.

In order to create the ancient world, each player has an opportunity to pick one card that matches his or her goals. Once the player has chosen something, the pack of cards is passed to the next player. The speed of the game is what keeps everyone engaged for a short period of time.

There is one thing to be aware of, and that is all the cards are very thin, which can easily be damaged. To prevent this from happening after repeated play, you can either purchase card sleeves to protect the cards, or have each card laminated for long-lasting results.

One downside of the game is the rulebook – a number of players have commented on the fact that it isn’t written well. This has lead to a number of people playing the game wrong, but this isn’t too much of a big deal. Often families will invent their own rules for games anyway!

Overall, this board game does not have the means of becoming boring for anyone. Each game offers players a different opportunity to build a strong civilization. This board game also offers players different strategies to build the best ancient city, so it keeps things interesting.

It’s great having a game for kids and adults that moves along quickly. Not all of us have the time or patience for a 5-hour game of Monopoly! The 7 Wonders board game is certainly worth buying and will hold a proud place in your gaming collection.
